Good Wood Expo March 2019

Good Wood Expo is a roadshow of responsible promotional events, organised by BVRio, which will take place around the world. The Expo creates markets for responsible timber from VPA (voluntary partnership agreements) countries, increases the visibility of VPA and FLEGT timber, and raises awareness about the VPA process.

The first Good Wood Expo was held at the Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX 2019), in Jakarta, promoting FLEGT-licensed timber products. IFEX is the biggest meeting place for national and international buyers, traders, and national manufacturers. The event featured a wide range of products by around 500 exhibitors. The Good Wood Expo – Indonesia gave visitors the opportunity to meet our showcase of Indonesian timber furniture companies and to attend our high-profile Good Wood Talks. Over 200 visitors visited the Expo.

Future destinations will include Cameroon (November 2019. Register here: https://www.goodwoodexpo.com/en/visit-the-expo/), Vietnam (2020), Republic of Congo (2020) and Ghana (2021).
