Replay - Webinar Lesser Known Timber Species

BVRio, in conjunction with the Ghana Forestry Commission, recently published a guide of the properties of twenty lesser known timber species from Ghana. You may find here the replay of the launch webinar with an exciting speakers lineup exploring properties of lesser-known species and Ghana’s timber sector. Speakers highlight why buyers should be choosing lesser known species for their timber needs, and where to source them. Using a more diverse selection of species is not only a good business decision but also has the potential to improve livelihoods, protect biodiversity and promote sustainable forest management.
